Aqua Data Studio is designed to make its users more effecient by
automating and scripting the most common tasks Database Developers
and Database Analysts perform on a daily basis. Within the Main
Appplication Toolbar there is a menu specifically dedicated to
automation - Automate. Within it, it is possible to Automate Adding
Insert, Update, Delete and Select statements, Introducing
Columns and Value Stubs, Morphing to
Delimited Text, Formatting
Statements and Scripts, Auto Completing
objects, and scripting Aqua
Commands.
Used in combination, the Automate menu's commands dramatically
reduce the time it takes to write and format scripts. When Aqua
Commands are written is also possible to script a set
of queries to a database, generate a chart from the query, save as
an Excel spreadsheet with an embedded chart and email the
spreadsheet with refreshed data as a scheduled task in the
operating system.
