1.1 Minimum Requirements

Before you install Aqua Data Studio 7.5, make sure that your system meets the necessary OS and Hardware requirements.

Prerequisites for OS X 10.5.1 or higher / Java 1.6

  • PowerPC G3 or above || Intel Processor
  • Minimum 256 MB of RAM
  • Minimum 100 MB of Disk space

 Many users set their JRE to 1 GB of RAM, as large resultsets can consume memory quickly.  To increase RAM for Aqua Data Studio, see the "First steps towards Configuration" section.
