Difference Tools
Aqua Data Studio provides difference tools for users to easily compare database schemas, queries, files and directories.
To access the Difference Tools, you may use the Application menu under Tools->Difference Tools->[Tool].
The tools consist of 5 tools to perform difference functionality on different objects. The tools include:
- Schema Difference:
Provides the ability to compare two databases and the objects within them.
- Tab Difference:
Provides the ability to compare the contents of two tab windows.
- Directory Difference:
Provides the ability to compare two directory structures and the files within them.
- File Difference:
Provides the ability to compare two individual files on the local file system.
- Copy Difference:
Provides the ability to compare two copied blocks of text from the clipboard history.
- Results Difference:
Provides a user with graphical representation depicting differences between two result sets obtained from either the same query or two different queries.
