Compare Tools
Aqua Data Studio provides Compare Tools for users to easily compare database schemas, queries, files and directories.
To access the Compare Tools, you may use the Application menu under Tools->Compare Tools->[Tool].
The tools consist of 5 tools to perform compare functionality on different objects. The tools include:
- Schema Compare:
Provides the ability to compare two databases and the objects within them.
- Tab Compare:
Provides the ability to compare the contents of two tab windows.
- Directory Compare:
Provides the ability to compare two directory structures and the files within them.
- File Compare:
Provides the ability to compare two individual files on the local file system.
- Copy History Compare:
Provides the ability to compare two copied blocks of text from the clipboard history.
- Results Compare:
Provides a user with graphical representation depicting differences between two result sets obtained from either the same query or two different queries.
