Aqua Data Studio stores all configurations in the <USER_HOME>\.datastudio directory. Where USER_HOME is the home directory of the current user logged into the Operating System.

Windows = C:\Documents and Settings\<USER_NAME>\.datastudio
Linux = /home/<USER_NAME>/.datastudio
OSX = /Users/<USER_NAME>/.datastudio

The user may easily backup user settings by copying the full contents of this directory to an external storage. All of the connection configuration is stored in the <USER_HOME>\.datastudio\Connection directory and sub-direcotires, with a connection file for each server in the appropriate directory. Users may exchange and share server connections by transfering individual files for each server. When transfering servers between Aqua Data Studio installations, all settings are transfered except for passwords.
